Roseburn Parent Partnership

About the RSPP

Welcome to the Roseburn School Parent Partnership: Chairperson Gail MacLeod (elected June 2024)

The Roseburn School Parent Partnership (RSPP) is the name of the Parent Council of Roseburn School. The Partnership acts as a link between parents, the school, the city council and local community, and is made up of volunteer parents/carers from each class, staff members and members from the local community. It is primarily concerned with representing you – the parents.

On this page you can find our RSPP Constitution, the PTA Remit and many Frequently Asked Questions about the RSPP and wider parental engagement in schools in Edinburgh. You will also find on this page the most recent agenda, minutes and papers from our RSPP meetings held each term, and our AGM in September. At the beginning of each school year we call for volunteers to sit on the RSPP. We like to have at least one parent member per class and the documents here tell you how you can get involved and how our parent council operates.

We invite you to note the dates for the RSPP meetings for the 2025/26 school year. These will be held on Microsoft Teams (online) apart from the Annual General Meeting (AGM) which is held in person. Meetings usually start at 8pm and last around an hour and a half.  We will also always send parents/carers the meeting details via ParentPay before each meeting as a reminder.

  • Term 1 – Wednesday 10 September 2025 – AGM in person
  • Term 2 – Wednesday 19 November 2025 – online
  • Term 3 – Wednesday 14 January 2026 – online
  • Term 3 – Wednesday 1 April 2026 – online
  • Term 4 – Wednesday 3 June 2026 – online

If you would like to get the details for your current class representative, put forward any topics for discussion at the next meeting or become a member yourself, please feel free to contact us at: RoseburnSchoolParentPartnership@outlook.com.

Best wishes,

Gail
