In the event of an emergency which prevents Roseburn Primary opening in the morning or results in an early closure, a range of communications channels are used these include:
- Email sent out by Parentmail
- Text sent out from the school office
- News update on the school website
It is important that the school has your current contact details.
In addition, announcements will be made on Radio Forth (Forth 1 and Forth 2) and via the Council’s corporate Twitter account http://www.twitter.com/Edinburgh_CC and Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/edinburghcouncil. If many schools are affected, or the situation is likely to be prolonged, then the Council’s website http://www.edinburgh.gov.uk will also be used.
