Class Welcome Letters & Learning Overviews – Session 2026/27
Our new session welcome letters for each class are now available on the school website. These letters introduce the year ahead and share key information about routines, expectations and how we work together to support your child’s learning.
You will also find the class term overviews for Term 1, which outline the planned learning for each class across the term. These overviews give you a clear picture of what your child will be exploring and experiencing in their learning.
These resources are designed to strengthen communication between home and school, and to help you feel fully connected to your child’s learning journey throughout the term.
To help you understand the structure of your child’s school day, each class timetable is also included. This provides insight into the flow and rhythm of the week, including when core subjects, outdoor learning, PE and other activities take place.
Welcome to your child’s class Term 4 Overview.
Our Term 4 Overviews are now available and outline the key learning taking place across all classes for the remainder of the term. These overviews give families a helpful insight into what children are exploring in school and can support any learning at home. We hope you find them useful in understanding the skills, knowledge, and experiences your child will be engaging with as we move through this final term.

The Termly Learning Overviews, provide details of the class learning for the Term and how you can be engaged and involved in your child’s learning. Supporting learning in class: Home Learning Grids
We welcome and encourage family support with learning, both in school as a volunteer, and at home. Each month, our Home Learning Grids share the class learning your child will experience, and engage with, and identifies ways they can, and you can, help with their understanding, by reinforcing key concepts. Spelling, reading, number bonds and times tables are areas that often require regular repetition. Please use the Ask the Teacher function on Teams if you have any questions. All HL Grids are shared on Teams along with additional resources. HL jotters should be returned to school on a Monday.
