In Art and Design we are learning to explore tone and proportion in observational drawing.
We have learning about inventions through the ages – look for a modern day object in your house and do a detailed pencil drawing looking carefully at shape and proportion. Use your pencil with different amounts of pressure to add tone.
Try a different item from last week – a bicycle, a kettle, a microwave, a toaster, a mobile phone, a laptop….check with an adult before drawing these! Perhaps you could draw a waterproof jacket – a modern version of the ‘Mackintosh’!
Please share your work on Twitter! We’d love to see it!
