Our morning nursery class had a animaltastic day at Gorgie Farm this week. As part of our visit we were learning about what animals need to grow and observing the difference between baby and adult animals. This week in nursery we have been learning lots about spring time and Easter. We have searched for signs of spring, talked about who celebrates Easter and why it is a special day, made Easter bonnets and painted eggs. In nursery we have been busy planting seeds. The children have done an excellent job at looking after their seeds to help them grow! Our cress has already sprouted and we can’t wait until the shoots of our sunflowers start to appear!

The Nursery girls and boys have enjoyed playing in the ever changing weather we have experienced in the last week.
