Friday 24 April -P3

Good morning P3! This week for your listening and talking task you were challenged to say 3 things about yourself – 2 that were true and 1 that was made up.

I have written 3 facts about myself……can you guess which one is the made up fact? I will post the answer on Twitter after 3pm.

If you are looking for something to do today, why not try some handwriting? I have posted a screen shot for you to copy.

Have a great weekend!

Miss Fraser 🙂

ANZAC Biscuit recipe

Thanks to everyone who took part in the “Guess my ingredients” challenge this week.   My 8 ingredients were butter, golden syrup, rolled oats, flour, coconut, sugar, water and baking soda.  A special well done to Sylvie and her mum who recognised them as ANZAC biscuits and got all 8 ingredients correct! ( It clearly helped to have the same famous NZ recipe book too!)

Can you work out why I chose ANZAC biscuits as my recipe for this week?

Miss Fraser 🙂

Thursday 23 April – P3

Good morning everyone!

If you are looking for some activities to do at home today then why not try some of the tasks on the mental maths calendar grid.  You can click here to get the link:  Mental Maths grid P3

You could also try doing some Number of the Day activities.  Make up your own 3 digit number using dice or a pack of cards.

How did you get on with my spelling challenge yesterday?  Here are the answers.  Well done if you got them right at home!

Miss Fraser 🙂

Wednesday 22nd April

Hello P6! Today you could try to make some different types of triangles and quadrilaterals using items around the house.

Can you identify the shapes that I have made? Hint: the pens with different coloured lids are the same length. Challenge: Explain the difference between 4, 6 and 7.

Send your answers to admin@roseburn.edin.sch.uk or tell me on Twitter.

Please also note that SPMG 6 should be q97 Q1 – 2, not pg 96.
