Our Digital School

Digital Schools Scotland Award

We achieved our Digital Schools Scotland Award on 27 Sep 2024. The Digital learning Team, and teacher representatives engaged in a virtual Digital Schools Validation, with a validator from Digital Schools Scotland. The team shared practice, and demonstrated the many ways Digital Technologies, enhances learning and teaching at Roseburn, and explained how technologies are an integral part of the curriculum. They confidently responded to her questions, and received very positive feedback in the validation report.

Here are our Tech Team; p7 Sean, Timmy, Anas & Emma sharing their Digital Learner award, for their efforts and contributions to the Digital Award Validation. Digital Learner Awards were also given to p7 Cairi, Ingrid, Pia, Atharva, Jessica and Eleni, p6 Brecken, Alex, Dia and Aradhya, and p3 Robbie, Marcus, Cara & Aanika.

At Roseburn Primary School, we use technologies to support and challenge our everyday learning and teaching. However, we are aware that children also need to be aware of the dangers of technologies and to be aware of the best practice surrounding them.

We also know it can be difficult to have internet safety conversations with children at home so we’ll shortly be putting some resources below to help with this.

These ‘Parent Guides’ will help to support you in keeping your child safe on the latest apps. There are also guides with advice on topics such as online bullying, screen time and cyber resilience.
