Jack and the Beanstalk

Primary 3 have been very busy during the first term, from designing catapults in groups to help Calvin fly to exploring emotions and making our strategies wheels. But the biggest and most exciting project we had this term was preparing for and delivering our Harvest Show.

We had a wonderful time learning about, and taking on, different roles to put on a performance. All of us became artists by creating the backdrop and making props and we helped with the marketing of the show by designing the posters and invitations. We also got to choose whether we would like to have the role of a dancer, actor, narrator or musician within the show and had special responsibilities for each. We understand that there are lots of jobs involved in productions and only through working together we were able to put on a spectacular show for you.

Of course a huge thank you to Mrs Denvir for her wonderful artistic skills and dance moves along with Mrs Hussain and the Primary 7s for their kind hospitality! A big thank you as well to parents and carers who helped with costumes and practice at home!

Thank you to everyone who came along and supported us, we hope you loved the show as much as we loved doing it!
