In Art and Design we are learning to create still life images.
We have been looking at the work of Samuel Peploe – you could google this to see more of his work.
Set up your own still life scene using fruit or vegetables ( tins or bottles would also do ). You could place the objects on a tea towel or piece of fabric. Draw what you see. *Top tip – draw the fruit first, then place the bowl or plate around the fruit.
Think about how you could add colour – pencil, felt pen, paint, chalk, collage? ( Old magazines are great for finding colours and patterns ).
