11.05.20 – 15.05.20
Our learning this week will be focused around your sense of hearing and sound. You could take some time this week to listen to your favourite music – and maybe sing and dance along! We are also asking you to listen carefully when you are out and about on your daily exercise – what sounds can you hear?
Here are some fun facts about hearing:
- You don’t stop hearing when you are asleep – your brain just chooses to ignore the sounds.
- There are 3 tiny bones inside your ear. They are so small that they could all fit together on a penny.
- Your ears are important in helping you to keep your balance, too.
There are lots of suggested activities on this week’s Home Learning Grid. Feel free to pick and choose the ones that interest you most. You might even decide to look at how different animals hear…
We are so proud of you all. Have a great week!
Primary 1 have been listening hard this week, while learning all about the sense of hearing. Sometimes it is important to take a moment to stop and listen to our surroundings. It can help us to feel calm in times of anxiety. Here is a brief glimpse of some of the fabulous learning you have shared with us. We are very proud of all of you.
