Home Learning Resources Week beginning 19th May 2020

Hello everyone, I will attach the resources here that are linked in the home learning grid for the week beginning Tuesday 19th May. As always there is no pressure to use these resources, they are there if you would like to use them to support your child’s learning. Do what works for you and your family at home. I know you are all working so hard and I have really enjoyed seeing the emails and photos that you have sent me!

Thursday 14 May – P3

Good morning everyone!

It has been great to see so many of you on Teams over the past couple of days.  I enjoyed seeing everyone’s daily check in greetings and emojis yesterday.  Today I have set some success criteria for the check in.  Try checking in by replying to my post (rather than starting a new post), just like Mrs Denvir did yesterday.  I’m looking forward to seeing how many of you can do it!

Lots of you also tried my 3D shape task yesterday and I can see you are very good at recognising the shape from different angles.  Well done!

I will email the next story time link later today.

Please get email me if there are any problems accessing or logging in to Teams.

Thank you

Miss Fraser 🙂

Wednesday 13 May – P3

Good morning everyone,

Great to see so many of you managed to log on to Teams yesterday.  Once we have everyone sign up and logged on I will be posting tasks and activities on the site.  Don’t forget to log in and post a hello/emoji on the “Daily check in” channel each day.  If you are not sure how to do this please get in touch to let me know.

If you are looking for something to do today then try my “Spot the 3D shape” task.  Click here to open the document:P3 – Spot the 3D shape

Here are the answers to this week’s spelling challenge.  Lots of you managed to guess the correct words so well done!

Miss Fraser 🙂

Tuesday 12 May – P3

Good morning everyone,

I have chosen a healthy option for this week’s spelling challenge.   Can you work out the mild, spicy and hot words?  I will post the answers tomorrow.

Thanks to everyone who has completed the consent forms for using Teams. Your log ins and password should be with you soon.  Once you are logged in please go to the check in channel and type a message or emoji to say hi.  This will let me know you were able to sign in successfully and can access the P3 site.

If you have any problems with logging in or access, please email me via the admin address.

Thanks,

Miss Fraser 🙂

German w/b 11.5.20

       •    I can name family members

        1.   Revisit the previous task on family members to practise your vocabulary

http://www.linguascope.com

2. This 3 minute activity on youtube will also revise the vocabulary and sets you a challenge to name family members:

        3. You could try drawing your own family tree and labelling the family members in German

TOP TIP – If you have step brothers or sisters the word for ‘step’ is ‘Stief’ ( pronounced shteef),

Can you name these family members?

  1. Die Stiefmutter
  2. Der Stiefvater
  3. Die Stiefschwester
  4. Der Stiefbruder
