Thursday 23 April – P3

Good morning everyone!

If you are looking for some activities to do at home today then why not try some of the tasks on the mental maths calendar grid.  You can click here to get the link:  Mental Maths grid P3

You could also try doing some Number of the Day activities.  Make up your own 3 digit number using dice or a pack of cards.

How did you get on with my spelling challenge yesterday?  Here are the answers.  Well done if you got them right at home!

Miss Fraser 🙂

Wednesday 22nd April

Hello P6! Today you could try to make some different types of triangles and quadrilaterals using items around the house.

Can you identify the shapes that I have made? Hint: the pens with different coloured lids are the same length. Challenge: Explain the difference between 4, 6 and 7.

Send your answers to admin@roseburn.edin.sch.uk or tell me on Twitter.

Please also note that SPMG 6 should be q97 Q1 – 2, not pg 96.

Good morning P3!

Try to do some spelling today.  Here is my spelling challenge for this week.  (see the photos below)

This time I have used washers and screws.  Will you choose mild, spicy or hot?  Give it a go and remember to check back here tomorrow to see the answers!

Good luck!

Miss Fraser 🙂

P1 Home Learning

21.04.20 – 24.04.20

A huge welcome back to all of our families. We hope you enjoyed your Easter break and managed to enjoy a little of the sunshine!

Here is our suggested overview for this week. You will find a mixture of activities from across the different curricular areas. We shall continue to give you daily guidance on Literacy and Numeracy activities. It may be helpful to use our class timetable to help you structure the week but, as always, we leave it to you to decide what is most suitable for your home environment.

What successful week of learning you have been having at home! Learning takes place in lots of different places – inside and out – and P1 are using so many different skills. Here is a snapshot of this week’s activities…

Term 4 Home Learning Grids

Hello P2! I hope you all enjoyed the water week theme, I was so impressed with all your fantastic home learning. Please find attached this weeks weekly plan. Please remember these grids are to support prior learning and there is no expectation or pressure to complete all of it every week; do what works best for you as a family. If you are still working through a previous grid that is also completely fine.

I know you all all working very hard and I am missing you all lots!

Take care,

Miss Williams
