P4 Timetable

Please find attached our class timetable for this term. This will enable you to see how much time we spend on each curricular area throughout the week. I must stress that this can be used as a guide and I fully appreciate that many of the timings will be unrealistic in the home environment. Please do what you can and what works best for you at home.

The subjects covered in the ‘topic’ section of the timetable vary from term to term depending on our main learning focus. ‘Topic’ includes Science, Social Studies, RME, Expressive Arts and Technologies.

A Week in P1

Much of our learning in P1 happens through interactions, conversations and play. We try to avoid having the children sitting in one place for a long period of time – a general rule of thumb is 1 minute of listening for every year of their age, i.e. 5 or 6 minutes at a time! Here is the timetable we use to guide our weekly planning.
